I hate it when I'm wrong

I hate it when I'm wrong. It happens far too often for my liking. I really hate it when I misinterpret things, and make wrong assumptions. It can generate a lot of confusion before it is clarified. Of course I am angry at myself, I really should be better at understanding, picking up on subtleties.
I have been extreamly lonely since I started at uni nearly 4 years ago. In those 4 years, I have only had three friends visit me at home. So this friday evening, when I have the whole house to myself, I'm going to put on some loud music, sing along with it, maybe watch a movie, do a little coding and waste a lot of time. A sadly typical friday night. I don't even bother to ask my friends if they want to come over - I already know their answers. No.
The last thing I want is to be Arthur Dent (from the HHGttG). 30, alone, and not really in control of his life.
Four posts in 4 days... is this good, or really, really bad? Maybe I'm getting cynical in my old age (God I hope not, i'm only 22).
