One million to two compression (NOT computer science)

There is a very famous saying about one million to one compression. Basically, a shared joke can be expressed in a single wink that would take half an hour or more to explain.
Just a moment ago I received a text message. A very short text message.
1, 2.
That's all it said. Five charaters. I'm not going to explain what it means (I don't think I completely comprehend it all anyway) - it could take hours. I was going to give another cryptic piece to what it means, but even that might give it away.
I will say that life is interesting, a bit stressful and surprises are common. But not the type of surprise my brother gave my parents last year...
