It's been a busy month...

It's been a busy month. I apologise for not blogging at all last month.
I have been working hard on my business plan entry for Entre. I submitted it yesterday and I am very pleased with it. I don't think I will win by I have given it a go. Thanks to my mentors and people who have helped me.
Also in the last month I've had a lot of other events. First up was my birthday, my 23rd. Then
Megan and I held celibratory drinks for our engagement, which was a nice evening. Next was
Trial By Jury
with the Canterbury Singers. I played the Usher and everyone was happy with my
performance.
Then it was Megan's 21st. I dressed up as Prince Charming
for her themed party. The next
day I also helped with her Grandmother's 80th party.
Yet another 21st (it's a year of them), Haley's this time. I didn't know she was in 4 Man Bob
.
On the 28th Megan and I went to the Inaugural Scots College Old Boys' Christchurch Reunion. I was
easily the youngest old boy there. Iain couldn't make it and I don't know what happened to James and
Jeremy. I guess there was about 12 old boys there and most had partners. It was nice and interesting
to hear the stories everyone seemed to had, and been able to tell them a bit of the history since they
were there. I will probably try to go next year too.
Last week was one of the busiest, with trying to finish the business plan, mum's 50th, the Cosc
department post-grad conference and the IEEE NZ wireless workshop - with the wireless workshop overlapping
with the last day of the cosc pg conf. My presentation for the post-grad conference went fine (not that
I remember it at all), although it was just an overview of multimedia streaming and just one minute on
my thesis topic. As well as the overlapping conferences, that evening mum & and dad threw a spring
party
. And the following day I attended the GK planning day... Oh, the GK AGM was earlier in that
week too.
So now you have a little idea about how busy I've been. I know I have at least two photo albums to upload and I will soon. I also have to prepare to present my business plan and two short bits about my business to be videoed and shown at the Entre prize giving. Busy, busy, busy. Fun too.
I will admit I have fallen a little behind with my once a week blog entries. I hope do to some more coding soon so hopefully some more coding info as well. I will try to keep a bit more up to date, and have less of these very long blog entries.
